Mabel McGaha Savage, 92, of Memphis, TN passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Kirby Pines Manor. Mabel was a retired Memphis City Schools teacher with White Station High School being her last assignment. She was a longtime member of Colonial Baptist Church. Mabel was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Savage, daughter, Kay Savage Vaughn, and sisters, Elizabeth Stevens of Senatobia, MS and Roberta Couch of Memphis, TN. Mabel is survived by her sister, Edna Lee Dietchman Cox of Memphis, TN; niece, Jane Couch Baldwin of Moscow, TN, and nephews, Tom Couch of Franklin, TN and Ron Couch of Brentwood, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home-Poplar Avenue, with services to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum immediately after the services.
