

Martha Jean Lacey Hall, a kind-hearted, and faithful woman, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on June 15, 1928, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was a long-time resident of Collierville, Tennessee.
Martha graduated from Southside High School in Memphis. After her children were in high school, she worked at the Memphis Board of Education, where she made significant contributions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. R. Lacey and her son, Barry Lacey and grandson, Jordan Treadway. Martha is survived by her daughters, Deborah Treadway and her husband David, and Pamela Leach. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Chad Pfund, Stacey Pfund, Phillip Leach, and John Leach.
An avid reader and gardener, Martha was also a talented seamstress who enjoyed cooking and setting up a nice meal for her family. Her love for her family and her hobbies brought joy to those around her.
Martha was an active member of Collierville Christian Church and later Trinity Baptist Church, where she formed lasting friendships and contributed to her community.

Martha Jean Lacey Hall will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the positive impact she had on the lives of those who knew her.
