Mary "Teeny" E Etheridge

Teeny was born on February 9, 1935, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Milton Maharrey and Margaret Chastain Maharrey. She graduated from Treadwell High School. In 1954, she married Bedford "Skeets" Etheridge. She was a loving wife and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, especially at Thanksgiving and also enjoyed sewing and playing the piano. The Etheridges moved to Olive Branch in 1990. Teeny was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Olive Branch where she sang in the choir and taught first grade Sunday school.

Along with her parents, Teeny was preceded in death by her husband, Bedford and daughter, Cindy Terrell.

She is survived by her children, Vickie (Tom) Fox of Knoxville, Tennessee, Pam (Randell) Grimsley of Covington, Tennessee, and David (Erica) Etheridge of Memphis, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Angela (Doug) George, Elliott Terrell, Brett Terrell, Alex (Autumn) Terrell, Nathan Cox, Alyssa (Drew) Fleming, Ian Etheridge, and Abigail (Jake) Fowler; and eight great-grandchildren, Lily and Parker George, Evan, Leanna, Lucas and Krew Terrell, and Easton and Brooks Fowler.

Family and friends will gather on Monday, March 9 from ten o'clock in the morning until funeral services begin at ten-thirty, all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. Louie Porter will lead all the services of the day.
