Mary Joyce Stevens of Bartlett, TN was born in Malvern, AR on December 1, 1926 and passed in Memphis on February 2. Mary was very artsy and into crafts and cooking. At the age of 60, she learned to tap dance and became a member of the Steppin’ Out Dancers. She was a member and past president of the Memphis Storytellers League, and a member of the Independent Presbyterian Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie A. Stevens; and a son, Gary Stevens. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Stevens; son, Jeff Stevens; brother, George Langham; and by 5 grandchildren. A gathering will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Ave. from 1-2pm on Friday, February 6 with funeral services to begin at 2:00pm. Interment will be held in Memphis Memory Gardens.
