to Tilden and Mattie Barkley. Louise married Charles Richardson in 1951. They made their home and raised their children in Memphis, TN.
She retired from the JC Penney Co. She was a faithful member of Still Waters Baptist Church. After her husband of 63 years passed away, she moved to FL to be closer to her daughter.
Louise was predeceased by her parents, her husband, seven brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Riggs (Barry) of Destin, FL, her son, David Richardson (Pam) of Hernando, MS and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Avenue on February 13, 2026 at 11am. Visitation will be from 10am until the service begins. Burial will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
