It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael David Archibald, a brilliant mind and a gentle soul who left an indelible mark on the world. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, August 19th, 1988, Michael brought joy and inspiration to all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He was a loving son and a cherished friend.
From an early age, Michael's passion for computer science ignited a fire within him. As he embarked on his journey at the University of Memphis, he wholeheartedly pursued his dreams, majoring in computer science and embracing the infinite possibilities of the digital realm. It was during this time that Michael's entrepreneurial spirit emerged, as he fearlessly ventured into the business world, eventually establishing his own enterprise. His visionary mindset led him to co-develop and pioneer digital menu systems that are still in use to this day.
But Michael was so much more than a talented entrepreneur. He possessed a voracious appetite for knowledge and an insatiable curiosity about the world around him. His interests spanned from contemporary issues to the depths of history, from the intricacies of the stock market to the beauty of music. Michael was an avid reader, delving into literature that broadened his perspectives and enriched his understanding of the human experience.
Beyond his intellectual pursuits, Michael was a beacon of light in every room he entered. His quick wit and infectious smile brightened the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on every heart he touched. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine politeness endeared him to all, and he effortlessly forged lasting friendships wherever he went.
Michael David Archibald is survived by his father, Richard Archibald, his mother and stepfather, Paula and Tommy Hatmaker, his brother James Archibald, and his grandfather Gordon Archibald. Together, they mourn the loss of a remarkable individual whose absence will forever be felt.
