With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Michael Lee Morrison Sr. Mike passed away on November 20, 2023, leaving behind a tapestry of love and laughter that will forever be etched in our hearts. He was 60 years old.
Mike is survived by his son, Michael Morrison Jr., and daughters Samara Tessmer Sokolik, Candace Morrison, and stepdaughter Rebecca McCray. He is also remembered by a host of grandchildren, a testament to the love and family bonds he nurtured throughout his life.
Tragically, Mike is preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Morrison, whose memory will forever remain a cherished part of the family's history.
Separated from his wife, Mike remained a loving and devoted father, finding joy in the moments spent with his children and grandchildren. He had a passion for the open road, as his love for riding motorcycles allowed him to embrace the freedom and camaraderie of the biker community.
Mike was not only a rider but also an entertainer at heart. His infectious humor and charismatic presence could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Mike's ability to connect with people, coupled with his genuine kindness, earned him a vast circle of friends who will fondly remember the joy he brought into their lives.
A celebration of Michael Lee Morrison Sr.'s life will take place on December 3rd, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Family Funeral Care, located at 4925 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN 38122.
