Michael Wayne Wallace, 53, of Memphis, died September 17, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was a retired disabled U. S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Susan P. Wallace and his sons, Aaron Wallace of Greenville, S.C. and Matthew Wallace of Phoenix, AZ and granddaughter, Elizabeth Jane Wallace of Phoenix, AZ. He also leaves his sister, Jennifer Sanders and brother, James Pugh, both of Little Rock, AR. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, September 23, from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Chapel. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 24, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send gifts in Michael's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
