Miriam Sophronia (Phronie) Keltner Gaither, 91, passed away peacefully at Ave Maria on November 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents,Travis Bun and Jessie Morris Keltner; four brothers; three sisters; and a great grandson. She is survived by her sister, Eleanor Evans (Don); her children, Gail Dobbins, Elaine Perkins, Jack Gaither Jr.; four grandchildren, Hamlett Dobbins III., Jamie Perkins, Justin Perkins, and Heather Dobbins; and four great grandchildren, Milla Meiman, Hamlett Dobbins IV., Luke Perkins, and Jacob Perkins. Alumna of Treadwell High School and bride to a Battle of the Bulge prisoner of war survivor, Jack Leo Gaither, she was an active member of the Bartlett United Methodist Church. Services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015, at the Family Funeral Home on Summer Avenue at 2:00. Visitation begins at 1:00. Memorials are to be sent to Bellevue Baptist Church and the Alzheimer's Association.
