

Molly Loudean Martin Inman was born August 6, 1924 in Adamsville TN, the daughter of James P. Martin and Bertie Lavinia Gilchrist Martin. She retired from Gramma’s Daycare and Sears. She was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church in Memphis. Mrs. Inman departed this life on April 25, 2016 in Adamsville at the age of 91 years 8 months 19 days. She was loved by all who met her and was especially fond of Gospel Music. Often attending the “First Sunday in May Singing” at the Mount Sharon Presbyterian Church in Gilchrist where she was a member as a young girl. She was an Honor Graduate of Adamsville High School, class of 1944 where she and her sister Faye were star players for the Lady Cardinals on what is considered by most locals as the best Ladies team in the History of the school, losing only 1 regular season game in Loudean’s Senior year. She was a graduate of the Memphis School of Commerce. She was Pre-ceded in Death by her husband Robert D. Inman, a Memphis Fire Fighter. They were married for 47 years prior until his death in 1993. Also preceding her in death were daughter Linda Diane Inman Rogers and Son Robert Michael Inman. Survivors include Grandchildren: Lisa Danielle Inman Marascuilo, husband Lee and their children Hayden & Hudson all of Olive Branch, Heather Inman Potter, husband Jason and their children Maya, Dylan of Louisville, KY. Josh Rogers, wife Melinda and their children Carley, Trinity and Thomas, Steven Rogers, wife Mary and their children Janie and Ezra all of Memphis. She is also survived by her Brother in Law Grady L. Donaldson (Minnie Fay) of Adamsville who stood as Best Man in her Wedding. During the years of declining health she was especially supported by her nieces Kathy Martin Wagner, Eva Ann Martin Kirk, Nancy Smith Plunk, Lisa Donaldson Bearden, Marie Martin Bolton , Nephews Jimmy Paul Martin , George and Ted Donaldson and an Outstanding Group of Caretakers at the Adamsville Healthcare facility, way too many to mention. She is also survived by a Very large contingent of Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great-great Nieces and Nephews etc from as far East as New Hampshire, many located in and around Nashville and Middle TN, a large contingent in Ohio, Texas and a rather large contingent of Martins up and down the Coast of California all who Adored “Aunt Dean.” She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Lora Ozment, Wilma Smith, Evelyn Williams, Gavin Martin, Clifford Martin, Gilcie Martin, John Neal Martin, J.P. Martin, Edd R. Martin, Kenny Martin and Minnie Fay Donaldson. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, April Twenty-ninth from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until the time of service at two o’clock in the afternoon at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
