Nida Annette Wilson

Nida Annette Wilson, 88, passed away August 22, 2018 in Hernando, MS. She was born in Memphis, TN and a graduate of Humes High School. Nida was a Sunday school teacher at Eudora Baptist Church. She loved camping and reading but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She was the most selfless woman that you would ever want to meet. Nida was also a beautician and worked for Gould's Beauty Salon for over 30 years. Nida was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Green Wilson of 57 years and sister, Carlene Hendrix. Nida is survived by brother, Kenneth Shumaker (Judy); two sons, Larry Wilson (Cynthia) and David Wilson (Ashley); grandchildren, Jason Wilson, Jessica Wilbanks, Aaron Wilson, Ryan Goss, Jennifer Wright, Lawrence Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Rachel Wilson, Emily Wilson, Ben Wilson, Tristen Hedrick, Laney Claire Goss, Baylen, Wilson and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, August 24th from 6-8pm at Family Funeral Care and the service will be Saturday, August 25th at 10am at Family Funeral Care. The burial will take place at Memorial Gardens.
