

Norma moved to Memphis in 1963 and briefly worked for the hospital administrator at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. from that time until 1992, she was instrumental in the family business.
Norma was a member of Central Church, where she was on staff from 1992-2001. In 2001 she and her husband moved to Colorado Springs where they were on staff of Greater Europe Mission. they returned to Memphis in 2003.
She loved classical music and played piano from a very early age. she sang in numerous choirs and was well known for her quick wit.
Norma is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James McDonald Miller; daughter, Ruth Ann Devlin (Bill) of Frisco, TX; sons, Lawrence Miller (Kathryn) of Memphis, TN, Glenn Miller (Andrea of Frisco, TX; one sister, Mary Jane Harland of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Brian Devlin, Chris Devlin, Scott Devlin all from Dallas, TX area, Jake Miller, Aaron Miller, Anna Miller, Matt Miller, Kimmie Miller all from the Memphis area; and great grandchildren, Matthew Devlin, Lily Devlin, and Cameron Devlin of Texas and McLane Miller of Collierville, TN and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11 am at Central Church, 2005 E. Winchester Blvd., Collierville, TN
A private family burial will be held at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
