Olen “Lamar” Spencer, LTC (Retired), 62, of Germantown passed away June 8, 2014. Lamar retired after 38 years of service, as an Executive Support Officer at the 164th Airlift Wing of the TN Air National Guard. He served as President of the Retired Air Guard Association and President of N.A.R.F.E, Germantown Chapter. Lamar is survived by his wife, Lisa Bernardini Spencer; children Leigh Anne Spencer (TG Stevens) and Jason Spencer. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 11 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 12 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
