I'm so saddened to find my dear friend from the Draughon's and LeBonheur days has passed. I've been trying to find her for a year and had no luck until I found the obituary last night.  We were great friends back then. Always up to something. I could count on Pat for anything, as she could me. She was so kind, smart, selfless and a true friend in every sense of the word. I'm so touched by the photos displayed here. It's given me a glimpse into the life of a wonderful human being.  I can see she had a great life and was very happy. I can see she was very loved.    I was pleasantly surprised to find a picture of her in my kitchen from around 1977.  We had some great times back then. She made an indelible mark in my life and one I will forever be grateful. You were very special Pat. Thank you for being part of my past and my friend.

Bobby  I was saddened to hear that your dear Pat had passed away.  The last I knew was that you were about to go home from the hospital.  You may not have known that my husband, Lee died in the hospital on Oct. 18.  So, I am sympathizing for you and with you.  You two hold a special place in our hearts.

I had the privilege of working with Pat over the past several years. While I did not have a great deal of day to day contact with her I do know that she valued her relationships and is respected by her colleagues and the transportation industry as a whole.
 
Pat spoke fondly of her family. My thoughts and prayers are with those loved ones Pat leaves behind. May the love of those around you, help you through the days ahead.

I didnt have many friends in high school.......I was a loner......but Pat was one of my closest friends....I often thought of her over the years, she was always so kind to me.....we used to walk home together and talk about alot of things and laugh, such a beautiful person.....i am soo sorry......bless you Pat and thinks for the good memories and caring enough to be my friend when no one else did!!

I have been truly blessed to have known Pat.  She was an inspiration to me during my days at MS Carriers.  So much comes to my mind when I think back of her.  I will miss her.

I lead a team at Manhattan Associates that served Pat and her colleagues dating back to the mid-90's.  So many good things come to mind when you think of Pat:

-she cared SO MUCH about everyone she came in touch with and doing things right meant alot to her
-as a vendor to Pat, she made you want to do things better than ever and the thought of letting her down seemed to hurt more so than with others
-she had a smile that would light up a room.  You somehow were always better "after Pat" than "before Pat".
-she gave and gave and gave.  Pat gave everything she had.

While my relationship with Pat was mostly business, we did become great freinds over the years.  As soon as I arrived to Memphis, I headed to Pat's office for the welcome hug to begin the visit.

She was very special and will be missed by me and by all of my team.
