I am just learning of the passing of my friend. I was on Ohio and I Google him and his obituary came up. I am devastated because I was unaware.

Paul & Angela,
      Our hearts are very heavy right now, but our loving memories we will cherish forever.  Pauls' Elyria family and the Mount Zion M B church will think of Paul  remembering some thing he had done for us at home and church.   He was our handy go to man.
     There where times in the winter when it was snowy and cold and I said I am going to skip Church School today. The phone would ring and it would be Paul saying "Sharon  you going to Church School"   and he was so excited. So not wanting to disappoint him I would get ready and go. He inspired me  too 
    

As part of Paul's extended Ohio family we will really miss him. In his dealings with us he was amiable and easy to be around. He left his mark all over the church buildings we occupy through his  out-standing workmanship. May he and Angela now rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy to the family of both Paul and Angela.

My thoughts & prayers are with the family.  I didn't have the opportunity to meet Paul but enough was shared by his wife Angela which indicated she was madly in Love with him & he was so good to her.
May God give His peace that passes all understanding to all grieving now & throughout the future in memory of this couple.

In sincere memory of our dear friend Paul Purnell. We have so many fond memories of Paul when he lived in Elyria Ohio. Paul was everyone’s brother. He could paint, hammer, fix and do anything  that everyone needed, wanted or thought they wanted and then sit down and break bread with us. Paul always had a smile for everyone.  We will miss our dear friend Paul. Family let it be known that Paul had an extended family in Elyria Ohio that loved , admire d and respected him.
