Pauline “Polly” Freeman, 94, of Memphis,TN passed away from this life October 13,2013. Polly loved the Lord, her friends and her music of all types, gospel, classical, opera, big band and jazz. For many years she sang with big bands and was certainly known as a professional in this field. She was faithful to her church and to the choir. She was always well groomed and wore beautiful clothes. She had a radiant personality and despite her age, lived a very active life. She was a walker and travelled all over the world. She is survived by her close friends, LaVerne Galbreath and family and Rem (Mamie) Noble and family. A visitation with food and fellowship will be 5PM – 8PM, Thursday, October 17th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Poplar. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2PM, Friday, October 18th also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Church Health Center on Union Ave. or donor’s choice.
