Peggie Basinger

She was born July 31, 1932 to William and Beulah Taylor of Water Valley, MS. She was an avid mystery admirer and always ate her dessert first, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Basinger, of Olive Branch. They were married 66 years.

She is survived by a sister, Dot Taylor Trusty, of Water Valley, MS; sons, Bill Basinger and Rusty Basinger; grandchildren, Betsy Basinger Miller, Tammie Basinger, William Basinger II, Heather Basinger, Alexa Basinger, Lori Shackleford, Cristan Basinger-Fite, Clint Basinger; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Paige Dougher, Alyssa Shackleford, Bradley Shackleford, Bryanna Basinger, Ryder Basinger, and Brayden Basinger, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, June 27th at 11am at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN.
