Phil Holland Sr, 80, of Memphis, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Memphis. Although he was a man of few words, he had a ton of wit, and many self-taught talents. He owned Holland Sign Company and retired after 33 successful years. He had several bands, and played as a studio musician. He was a professional artist. Phil was an avid golfer, winning several Club Championships and made 3 Holes in One. He leaves behind a wife, Betty Holland; a son, Phillip “Pip” Holland Jr; his daughters, Cyndie Sorenson and Lorie Reed; his brother, Carl Ray Holland; and his sister, Mary Jo Fields. He was Grandfather to 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-grandchildren. Visitation Service, May 10, 2014 starting at 11:30 a.m. funeral following at 1:00pm at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Ave. Memphis. He will be laid to rest at Big Creek Cemetery in Lucy, Tennessee
