Richard M. “Rick” George, Jr., 65, of Memphis, TN passed away on October 19, 2022. Rick was preceded in death by his mother, Juanice Pitner(William). He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Margaret George; son, Richard M. George, Jr.; daughter, Anna George; and sisters, Gay L. Bell(Terry) and Jean Pitner Martino(David). Rick was a 1975 graduate of Kingsbury High School. He worked for the National Elevator Union as an elevator mechanic for 34 years. He was an avid Memphis Tigers fan and enjoyed attending and watching the games on TV. A reception will be held at Family Funeral Care on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Kidney Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in his honor.
