Our precious Lord took Rick’s hand and lead him home on Thursday, November 27, 2014 after a 5-mo. battle with cancer. A longtime Memphian Rick resided in Lillian, AL for the past 3 years. A good and faithful servant, Rick leaves a loving family and many caring friends who will miss his kindness and gentle ways. He was an active member of the Lillian Baptist Church with a special love for the youth group.
He is survived by his sister, Pat (Murray) Jones of Collierville, TN and his brothers, David Murray (Cathy) of Cleveland, TN and Jim Murray who was by his side throughout his illness. He leaves a son, Rick Murray, Jr., a daughter, Beth Colston and several step-grandkids whom he adored.
