Robert Gaston Gill

ROBERT G. “Bobby” GILL, JR., passed away August 20, 2015 at the age of 73 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaston, Sr. and Eva John Gill and sister, Betty John Gill. He leaves behind a daughter, Lisa Gill Ziegler (Hunter) and three sons, Robert G. Gill, III “Bubba,” Billy Gill, (Stefanie) and Scott Gill (Kelley); his sister, Sandra Ragan (Jimmy) and companion, Carolyn Anderson and her daughters, Hope and Heather and their children Seth, Hayley, Taylor, Noah, Bynum and Brynlynn. He adored his eight grandsons, Warren, Caden, Gaston and Michael Gill, Hunter and Gill Ziegler and Alec and Gabriel Hearne. Bobby was thankful for all God had given him and generously shared it with others. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with family and friends, raising cattle, farming, and experiencing life to the fullest with his grandchildren. He attended Bartlett High School, William R. Moore School of Technology and was a member of Mullins Station Baptist Church. Services are as follows: Visitation Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with funeral Monday, August 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. Both services at Memphis Funeral Home, Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Burial to follow in Batesville, MS.
