Sandra Jane Timbes Graham, born the 25th day of February 1955 in Tunica, Mississippi, was the daughter of James Cecil Timbes and Imogene Spradling. Sister to Joan Wilson, Susan Collins, David Timbes, all preceding her in death, Sandra's brother Donnie Timbes resides in Waterford, Mississippi. She married her childhood Sweetheart, Michael "Mike" Graham in 1970.
Mike and Sandra lived each day in love and devotion to one another, and the promise "til death do us part" was fulfilled when Mike passed from this life in 2014. Their love brought daughters, Angela Cayce Webb (Preston) of Memphis, and Tammy Kubis (Michael), also of Memphis. Mike and Sandra were the proud grandparents of Sara Maxwell, Anna Maxwell, and Dalton Cayce. Together they were blessed with their great-granddaughter, Kylie, and Sandra saw the births and young lives of two more great grandchildren Lily and Charlie. Another great-grandchild is expected in the summer of 2022. She cherished her family, kept them close always, and leaves a legacy of faithfulness, fairness and acceptance.
There is a light that shines from the home of Mike and Sandra, a light that was kept bright by one woman's loyalty to family and friends throughout her life. From the nephews and cousins they "raised" together as teenagers, to the family she raised, to the babies she kept, to the young adults who sat at their kitchen table or on the phone for hours on end, to the people she befriended anywhere she went. Sandra gave of herself tirelessly and selflessly. There was not one who did not know her full attention and concern. She has touched so many, mothered so many, and counseled so many - her life lives on in each one. She was and always will be a cornerstone in the lives of those who knew and loved her, and she will be greatly missed until the day we meet again.
