Born on December 18, 1942, Sherry was one of two children born to the late William Rice & Mary Douglas Whitaker Dozier. Sherry graduated from Whitehaven High School class of 1960, took some business courses and worked for Lincoln American Insurance.
Sherry is survived by her son James Christopher Lemser; and siblings Joy Settle, Charlotte Shaw and Bill Dozier.
Family and friends will gather at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119 on Thursday, June 25th beginning at two o'clock in the afternoon until a memorial service begins at three o'clock.
