Stephen Hartford Farnsworth, son of Rev. Dr. Bevington H. Farnsworth and Joyce L. Farnsworth, died on April 8, 2018 at his parent’s home after a long illness. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on March 12, 1960. He graduated from Raleigh Egypt High in 1978. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1982 and was a member of ATO Fraternity. Mr. Farnsworth was a member of Lindenwood Christian Church and was employed by Steepleton Tire Company as comptroller.
In addition to his parents, he leaves a niece, Victoria Farnsworth of Nashville, Tennessee and his friend, Jody Moore, who helped to care for him during his illness, two aunts, Shirley Lott and Sarah Hill, uncle, Billy Felts and many cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 11, 2018 from 11 A.M. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee
In lieu of flowers gifts in memory of Mr. Farnsworth may be offered to the West Cancer Center or to the charity of the donor's choice.
