Steven Olson

STEVEN DOUGLAS OLSON, CPA, passed into the presence of His heavenly Father, at home in Germantown, Tennessee on Thursday, March 31, 2011. Steve was born on July 27, 1952 in Chiquicamata, Chile of American parents, Dolores Rinck Olson, presently of Portland, Oregon and the late Robert Harold Olson. Olson, a veteran of the U. S. Navy and graduate Aloha High School of Beaverton, Oregon and the University of Memphis, is also survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Grogan Olson, and their two sons, Eric David Olson of Germantown, and Kevin Daniel Olson of Palatine, Illinois. Olson was a member of Central Church, Collierville, TN, for over 32 years. He is also survived by his brother, Jeff Olson of Coos Bay, OR; two sisters, Susan Armstrong and Nancy Bowser, both of Portland, OR; six nieces; and six nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 3, from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
