Tam was born on October 10, 1948, in Quang Ngai, Vietnam. She and her husband, Mr. Quang along with their six kids went to Bataan, Philippines refugee camp before migrating to the United Stated of America in 1991. She came to know the Lord Jesus Christ while at the camp, was baptized and continued growing in her love and faith of her Savior. They arrived in Memphis, TN in June of 1991 and actively attended and raised their family in the Vietnamese Baptist Church.
She is a very hard worker and a great cook. You will not leave hungry after you hang out with her. She loves her family and the people she know so well. Her family is her number one priority after God. She will give even when it means she will have nothing left for herself. If she could give you nothing else, she will say this, “Don’t worry about it. It will be okay. God will take care.”
Tam is survived by her three sons and daughters in-law, three daughters and sons in-law, eleven grandkids and four great grandkids. She is greatly missed by all.
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers for the family as we navigate life without our mom.
Tam will have a visitation on Sunday, October 15th from 2-5pm with the funeral service to follow at 5pm at Vietnamese Baptist Church 4431 Yale Road, Memphis, TN 38128. The burial will take place on Monday, October 16th at 2pm at Memphis Memory Gardens 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
