Tommy Gene Poindexter, 79, of Collierville, loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014, in Atlanta, GA. He was the retired owner of Poindexter Electronics and Germantown Electronics. He was a faithful member of Mizpah Chapter #62 Order of the Eastern Star and Unity Masonic Lodge #95 for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Poindexter, his parents Otis and Thelma Poindexter of Michie, TN, and his brothers Charles and Hayword Poindexter. He leaves a daughter Angela Poindexter Gilland (Wayne), a granddaughter Candy Stirling (Taylor), great-grandchildren Sydney, Landon, and Madi Stirling, six nephews, and four nieces.
