Vaughn Johnson., age 78 of Germantown, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013. He was born July 4, 1934 in Chesterfield, Tn. to the late Richard Johnson and Wille Etta Swett Johnson. He was preceded in death by his Foster Son, Joshua Baker. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Rita Byers Johnson; 2 sons, Vaughn “Junior” Johnson (Amy), and Donald B. Johnson; two sisters, Peggy Baumgardner (Bobby) and Barbara Boos; daughter, Patricia Breeding. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 5, 10A.M. at Family Funeral Care, located on Summer Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
