William Laney Bouzines

William Laney Bouzines, age 88, of Frayser, TN passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. William "Bill" was born in Memphis, TN on February 18, 1934 to Mary and Thomas Bouzines. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Bouzines; his father, Thomas Bouzines; his wife of 40 plus years, Virginia Bouzines and his siblings, Lenora Jane Belski, Thomas P. Bouzines, and Maudie Sleeper.

Bill retired as a printer for Bemis Printing and Graphics. He served in the United States Army as a Sp-2(T) from October 1953 until October 1956 and was transferred to the Army Reserves to complete his eight year service obligation.

He is survived by his sisters, Mariana Crouch and Vivian Helton; his daughter, Tina (Glenn)Maria Bouzines Eason; his granddaughter, Kelli Ann Edwards; his step-daughter, Vickie(Michael) Hayes; his grandson, Matthew (Bethanie) Collins; his great granddaughter, Eden Collins; his granddaughter, Penny Collins; his step-daughter, Brenda Grant; his grandson, Preston (Ashley) Grant; his great grandsons, Carsen and Preston Grant III; his great- granddaughters, Shyley and Ashlyn Grant; his granddaughter, Tabatha Grant; his great grandsons, Karllee and Daylen Grant; his granddaughter, Amanda Grant; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 1pm until 2pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at Family Funeral Care, 4925 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN 38122. The interment will occur at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133 immediately following the services.
