Dawn Ilene Klarner

Dawn I. Klarner, age 81, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. On March 1, 1930, Dawn Ilene was born to the late Clifford and Eva (Bellack) Frost. Dawn had worked as a waitress for many years. Recently she enjoyed being with her friends of Lakeshore Commons, playing cards, such as Uno, or other games like Yatzee or Bingo. Dawn also enjoyed getting out and going to any restaurant. She also liked to sit down by the water in Menasha and watch the boats go through.

Dawn will be missed by her loving children: Gary (Sue) Klarner and Diane (Jerry) Olson; 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Frost; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leroy (Rosemary) Frost and a sister, Kathleen (George) Heindle; and the father of her children, James Klarner who was forever in her heart.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee Street, Menasha. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Black Creek Cemetery in Black Creek. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
