

Donald L. Miller, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at his residence with his family at his side. He was born on April 30, 1929 in Menasha, son of the late Lyman J. and Mabel (Wilson) Miller. Don served in the United States Army, stationed in Japan, from 1946 -1948. In 1990, Don had retired from Kimberly-Clark after working there for 40 years. He married LAVerne (Hengel) White on March 1, 1984 in Florida.
Don was very artistic and also an inventor. He was very skilled at drawing and photography and loved tinkering around with things to see what items he could invent.
Don will be missed by his loving wife, LAVerne, his children: Linda Brevik, Kathleen (Charles) Julin, Mary (Stanley) Dinger, Pamela (Lawrence) Leviton, Barbara (David) McKenzie, Kevin Miller, Frances (Edward) Rydz; his grandchildren: Richard and Tina Brevik, Brian and Nathan Stumpf, Benjamin and Peter Mueller, Ian and Jonathon McKenzie, Deborah, John, Jeremy, April, and Sara Dombrowski; great-grandchildren: Evan McKenzie, Alex Mueller, Katlyn and Aaryanna Hernandez and Casey Walikonis, Aiden Perry-Rydz, Trenton, Jeremy Jr., and Chloe Dombrowski, Skyler Dombrowski; a brother, Elmer Miller; a sister, Ione (Paul) Gartzke; brother-in-law, Edward Manske; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Don was preceded in death by a brother, Lyman R. Miller; two sisters: Lois (Clyde) Fleming, and Joyce Manske; a step-brother, James O’Connor; and a son-in-law, Gordon Brevik.
The family wishes to hold private services for Don. Interment will take place in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Affinity Hospice for all of their care and compassion in the past weeks.
