Merry Christmas! Another "can't wait for it--phew, glad it's over" moment. Haha. Funny how we rush,try to plan,pull our hair out,fight for that up close parking spot,wrap,curl ribbons,slap on bows & name tags & POOF!!! it's over!!! Online shopping is so much easier & relaxing. Sometimes you have to love modern technology. So do all the Angels sing & dance? There is no World Peace here but up there everyone gets along. Must be a very long table to accommodate everyone. 
We had a good Christmas- a cold one but good one. Going to be a cold one all week.

Bro, 5 years! Where did the time go. It just doesn't seem possible. So much has happened, both good and not so good.  Some of your friends have joined you and we as well have lost some. All in the circle of life but it is still bittersweet. As you know, the '37 is in Wyoming waiting to be transformed. It will be a work in progress for some time but God willing it will get done.  The day it makes its' debut will be for you and hopefully, we will have made you proud. Always in our thoughts, miss you greatly, love you!

Bro, another year gone by. Can't believe it's 4 years already.  They say time heals but sometimes it doesn't seem to get any easier.  Especially when we think of the time we would have liked to have spent together as well as tackling those unfinished projects.  Still want to get the '37 done, haven't forgotten about it.  You are aware of all things that have happened since you've been gone, both good and bad. Glad that you're in a better place even though we miss you greatly and love you.

4 long years.....sometimes it seems long, sometimes not. Regardless, it's been 4 years.  I sat with you today-mostly in silence because nothing I say, think or do will ever bring you back. All the yapping about "being in a better place" barely takes the sting out of your absence. Don't get me wrong... you no longer have pain & illness which I am greatful for but missing you is......well...damn hard! I watch the car programs rebuilding street toys & doing a welding project & think "UJ would like that or could do that better!". Sure you know Ben Lauer passed away. I love you & miss you.

What a pleasant surprise to see Mike & Kathy Palms' nice message to you.  They still have the Plymouth they say, but you probably already knew that.  Bet you keep tabs on your past projects.  Would like to contact them if we get back to Wis this summer.  Love & miss you lots.

Well crap-another year has gone by-unbelievable! Sat with you all today but mostly talked to you. I said I couldn't promise there would be no tears. You know how that went (falling as I type this-sorry.) You'd say "Don't cry for me. I'm in a better place---no pain." That only helps a little bit. I can't bare the thought of losing mom or dad---you & Barb are hard enough. It's NOT fair. Been yapping with Casey. He finally talked about Barb a little. You must be keeping busy- haven't sensed your presence lately. Cruising above the clouds. It is car show season after all. I miss you. And the saying "It gets easier." is crap on days like this.

The big 66.  Who would have ever thought you would be celebrating up there.  You will never realize how much we miss you but know that you are still among us.  "Strange things" do occur.  Just learned that one of your old buddies. Bob Buss, is joining you. Guess you guys will be reminiscing.  Know Deb was going to visit you today, wish we were there also.  Happy Birthday again, we love and miss you.

So are we really supposed to be happy it's a new year? It only brings the realization of how long it's been since you received your NSRA wings (tires doesn't sound right)& the crappy thought of our own mortality.                           On the bright side- I'm thankful for all the years we had you, Barb, Gpa J. & Gpa&Gma A. And yes, we will be reunited someday. And I will finally meet Gma J. who I have been told is my guardian angel.

Wow, didn't realize I haven't written for so long. Merry Christmas! We all had a great day. We all miss you, Barb & grandmas & grandpas. We reminisced about the old days spending the holidays together,etc. What a rowdy bunch we could be--haha! Miss you like crazy. Love you!

Today I was out to have lunch with Barb on her B-Day. It's been 4 years for her. Bummer! Both of you is a BIG BUMMER. So here is a candle lit for her cake. Hope you had a piece of cake for me! Love you all!

 Today Dad had surgery to remove blockage from an artery in his neck. Although you all knew that & watched out for him I had to say it anyway. This is my therapy-(I still get to yap at you-haha!)
 I can't image what the fireworks must look like from there-you get to see the whole world! BOOM!!

Today, 16 years ago your great niece Kaitlin passed away. We had a short time with her but I know you will teach her well( a welding angel---hahaha!)Love & miss you guys!

Two years today you've been gone. And I don't cry any less. I know you're "around"-I feel your presence often. Barb too(I can tell it's her cuz I get a whiff of cigarette smoke! Haha.)It was a perfect day so we could have lunch together at least. Oh how I wish you were here-it's car show time. I miss you so much. Cruise on...but remember where you are-you can't be "Hell on Wheels"!!!

Hard to believe that it is 2 years already since you left.  Sometimes it seems like only days. Sure wish you were still with us but only if you were pain free.  You have probably had some good laughs when watching over us and we do feel your presence at times. Especially when we see a '37 at a car show. Today Donna & Carr-(Kendra too!)are celebrating their wedding. They were married at the courthouse on Tuesday 8/13/13 in Wheatland,WY. You would like Carr, UJ. He's a good man,treats them like a queen & princess! Finally a real man that deserves to be called my brother-in-law. Hope you & Barb aren't fighting---LOL! Miss you all. Love you all.

Jerry, I was one of Barbra's best friends since Junior High School and I still can remember you laughing yourself silly when you'd catch us "being the Supremes on stage".  Then a few years later, thanks for the great motercycle rides,

Jerry was an excellent craftman.  My hot rod is very well built due to Jerry's expertise.  My sympathy to Jerry's family. He will be sorely missed by many.

Jerry was an incredible man who we will greatly miss. His warm smile and generous personality made the world a better place. Twenty years ago we fondly remember his presence at our wedding and his warm wishes for our happiness. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Still can't believe you are gone. Thought you would be here for a long while and be able to enjoy your apartment.  So thankful that we were able to spend the last month with you even under difficult circumstances.  You put up a good fight but God had other plans for you and didn't want you to suffer any longer.  It was hard to let go but you deserve to be in a better place.  We want you to  know how much we love and miss you.

Jerry was a good friend of mine in High School. He was always cheerful and thoughtful. Their are few and far gentler, kind and considerate men than he. After returning from Military Service I would run into Jerry from time to time and we'd talk about our High School days. For all who knew him you could count on him, to be a true friend forever.

I miss you so much. A piece of my heart went with you along with gallons of tears. Losing you Uncle Jerry hurts so much. I miss our long phone calls already but that doesn't mean I won't be talking to you every day-only now I will be doing all the talking! You're in excellent hands now-at peace, no more pain. I love you.

I had many good visits with Jergy, the last being a couple of weeks ago in his hospital room, Madison.  He was upbeat & hopeful, and as nurses tended to him, kind and appreciative of their care.  Best of all, as he & I discussed his relationship with Jesus, he knew & restatedthat Jesus was his Savior!  As I left him that afternoon, he cheerfully reaffirmed our friendship.

My condolences to Jerry's family! He was such a wonderful man! Always willing to help anyone in need!

Jerry you were such an important part of our family and I can truly say we will miss you more than words can say.  You were a Uncle to our daughters and best friend and mentor to Leo.  You were kind and patient and always made time for your friends.  The world has lost a truly talented and loving man.  May you ride the street rod of your dreams into eternity. Until we meet again Big Guy!

Jerry was one of our best freinds,always there for us if we needed help with something.We brought our hot rod body from him and when ever we ride in it,he will be in memory beside us. We love you Jerry.
