Alice Thompson was born in Chaneyville, Louisiana on April 9, 1937 to the proud parents Reverend Henry Thompson and Alice Thompson. Alice was the baby out of fourteen children. Alice attended school in Bunkie Louisiana from grade school to high school. After high school she went to college where she studied nursing and housekeeping. In 1971 she moved to California with her six children. She worked in a nursing home helping the elderly. Then she moved on to the veteran’s hospital in Long Beach, California. She then went to the Naval hospital in Carson and at Loma Belinda in San Bernardino. Alice always loved helping people. Nursing was her life. She loved to go to church and she was a praying lady. She moved away from Compton in 2009 to Riverside, California and later moved to Sun City where she passed away. She is preceded in death by her two daughters; Paula Thompson and Jennifer Thompson. She is survived by her four children; Sarah Parker, Vanessa Parker, Lyndon Parker, Stafford Parker, seven grandchildren; Chianti Robinson, Brandon Beason, Michael Madden Jr., Joseph Madden, Vos Macon, Landon Parker, Brandon Parker, four great grandchildren; Kezia Jordan, Cormarah Jordan, Wanýa Jordan, Michael Madder III; as well as multiple nieces and nephews. Alice loved her family so much.
A funeral service for Alice will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.
