Born in New Mexico, Carol spent the majority of her adult life in California, where she made a lasting impact both professionally and personally. While living in Newport Beach, she broke new ground as the first woman to serve on the local Chamber of Commerce council — a testament to her trailblazing spirit and commitment to community service.
Carol built a notable career as a writer for a savings and loan industry magazine. Her work led her to interview a wide range of celebrities and travel extensively, experiences she cherished and shared with those around her.
Over two decades ago, Carol made Menifee her home. There, she continued to flourish as an award-winning artist, known for her prolific output and passion across many forms of art. She also generously shared her talents by teaching art classes for many years.
Carol lived life to the fullest. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she found joy in bridge, tennis, golf, and travel. She was deeply engaged in her community and valued the friendships she built along the way. In recent years, especially following the pandemic, she led a quieter life — content with her art, reading, and remaining in touch with those closest to her.
She will be remembered for her creativity, determination, and vibrant spirit.
