Enrique Gonzalez

Enrique Gonzalez, 79, of Hemet CA, passed away on January 2nd, 2026. Born on Oct 4th, 1946, in Canelas Durango Mexico to Vidal Gonzalez and Paula Gamboa. Enrique was child #10 of 22 brothers and sisters, married to Antonia Gallegos on June 13th, 1970, and had 1 daughter.

He enjoyed time with his family and church. Volunteering in church activities, set-ups and clean-ups were a joy for him. He believed in being kind to one another and helping when possible. He loved watching Spanish comedy movies such as Cantinflas, translated American films like Home Alone and his all-time favorite Disney movie was Peter Pan (mainly the crocodile chasing captain hook).

He is survived by his wife Antonia Gonzalez, daughter Maribel Cano and son-in-law Michael Cano.

Services will be held at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park & Mortuary located at 26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, CA 92585 on Saturday January 24th, 2026. Visitation time will be from 9am-12pm followed by burial at the same location.

Enrique González, de 79 años, residente de Hemet, California, falleció el 2 de enero de 2026. Nació el 4 de octubre de 1946 en Canelas, Durango, México, hijo de Vidal González y Paula Gamboa. Enrique fue el décimo de 22 hermanos y hermanas. Se casó con Antonia Gallegos el 13 de junio de 1970 y tuvieron una hija.

Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia y en la iglesia. Participar como voluntario en las actividades de la iglesia, en la preparación y limpieza de eventos, era una gran alegría para él. Creía en la importancia de ser amable con los demás y ayudar siempre que fuera posible. Le encantaba ver películas de comedia mexicanas, como las de Cantinflas, películas estadounidenses dobladas al español, como Mi pobre angelito, y su película favorita de Disney era Peter Pan (especialmente la escena del cocodrilo persiguiendo al Capitán Garfio).

Le sobreviven su esposa, Antonia González, su hija, Maribel Cano, y su yerno, Michael Cano.

Los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo en Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park & Mortuary, ubicado en 26770 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, CA 92585, el sábado 24 de enero de 2026. El velorio será de 9:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m., seguido del sepelio en el mismo lugar.
