Judith (Judy) Ann Van Train (Gamble), age 75, of Menifee, California, passed away on December 28, 2024. She spent an amazing last Christmas at home with her family and then she went to be with her Heavenly Father and her late Husband, Bill, for New Year's, which is when they originally met.
She was born September 7th, 1949. She was born in Seattle, Washington to Everitt and Dorothy Gamble. She received her Bachelors of Education from Fredonia, a Masters in Technology from University of Pittsburgh and later continued her education in Mathematics.
She married William Arthur Van Train III on January 8th, 1977. The two were the perfect pair. They always said "We aren't perfect, but we are perfect for each other!" They loved traveling, living life, and just laughing, as long as it was together. They were blessed with 2 daughters, eventually a son-in-law who grew into one of their own, and 6 adventurous grandchildren.
Judy was a teacher through and through, both professionally for over 35 years, and bringing her love for teaching to any situation and chance she got after that. She cherished the simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved diving into the world through her grandchildrens' eyes, cooking, singing, playing her guitar, golfing, being involved with church and her Bible study groups, and playing bridge with friends.
Judy is survived by her 2 Daughters Jennifer, Heather and husband Trevor; her 6 grandchildren; her Brothers and Sister; her Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, her nieces and nephews; and her many friends.
She will be remembered for her caring heart, always trying to see the positive, her contagious smile, her fiery side that showed when she was passionate about something, and her protectiveness of the ones she loved.
Family, Friends and others whose lives Judy touched are invited on Friday, February 21st @ 11:00am for funeral services to be held at Eagle Ridge Church 25891 Holland Road, Menifee, CA 92584. With an Open House to celebrate Judy's life, to follow at her Daughter, Heather's home.
