Justin Willis Froilan Cruz Gil

We are sad to announce the passing of Justin Gil, loving father, husband, son, brother and friend. He left this world too soon on the first day of 2025. In the days before his death he was surrounded by family and friends.

Justin was born to Wilfredo and Maria Gil on December 29th, 1987 in Manila, Philipines. In 1991, Justin became a big brother to the best baby sister, Wilmarie Nicole. His family moved to California when he was 11 years old and Justin graduated from Temecula Valley High School in 2006.

In 2011, Justin met the love of his life, Amelia Rose Schneider. On June 21st, 2014 they were married at St. Mary, Hannah Church in Kingsley, Michigan. In 2016, they welcomed their dearest son Theodore into this world.

He worked for the Walmart Corporation for the last 18 years where he was a manager.

Justin loved action figures, video games and spending time with his family.. He was proud of his tattoos and his beard, loved good food and enjoyed resting and relaxation. His infectious smile and laughter brightened the lives of everyone who knew him.

Justin was a selfless man who would put the needs of others before his own. He was a dedicated husband, father and friend. The world is a better place because he was part of it.

Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Flora Gil and Alfonso Gil, his maternal grandparents Agripina Cruz and Eladio Cruz, his great grandmother Teodora “Inay” Herrera and mother-in-law Rita Schneider.

Justin is survived by his mother, father, sister, many relatives and in-laws, his beloved wife, Amelia and his young son, Theodore.
