Pernell Patricia Lindo Anderson, lovingly known as Pearl, passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on August 27, 1958, in Jamaica, Pearl later made her home in Menifee, California. She passed surrounded by love, a reflection of the care, warmth, and compassion she gave so freely throughout her life.
Pearl lived a life defined by service, strength, and connection. She proudly served as a Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy, where she had the opportunity to travel the world. After her military service, she continued her calling of caring for others as a nurse, serving with deep compassion and commitment until her retirement.
She met her husband, Mark, in San Diego while they were both serving in the military, and together they built a life grounded in love, partnership, and devotion for 38 years. Their bond was strong from the very beginning, and together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Pearl was known for her warm heart, beautiful smile, and unforgettable laugh. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, seen, and cared for. Honest, genuine, and never afraid to speak her mind, she carried herself with strength and grace while always putting others before herself.
She was a devoted mother who loved her children endlessly and embraced many others as her own. She was also a proud and loving grandmother who adored her granddaughter and found immense joy in her family.
Pearl is survived by her beloved husband, Mark; her children, Mark and Llanée; and her cherished granddaughter, Kaira.
Pearl leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, kindness, and compassion that will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
