I was very sad to hear from 'Taylor' about Ray's passing.

My heart aches, memories of our friendship are flooding in. I will never forget you, the fun we had everywhere we went.  I am sure my late husband, John, will find you, you can both give each other a big hug and think about the good old times. Thank you for the memories.

Ray, I will never forget you, thank you, that even after I moved to Montana, you were always checking up on me.  

My big condolences to Josie and entire family.  May God Bless you and help you thru this.

Our dear Ray , met him back in the “60’s through my husband “Nene” & being a member of the then Calexico 20-30 club of which he was very active . An awesome dancer at community events & weddings . Josie & family, receive our prayers & condolences, Ray will always have a special place in our hearts . 

I remember 55 years ago, Uncle Vernon was in attendance at a family Christmas.
We kids were acting up in the vicinity of the grown ups.
All he had to do, was look at us with his glare of disapproval.
We became quiet, quickly.
I miss you, and have missed you, Uncle Vernon. Never out of my thoughts. 
I am overcome with a sense of sadness, and relief. Heartache and joy.
All of my cousins,... to each, my sorrow flows. 
A man of great worth, is now, and always has been, God's possession.
I look forward to seeing you, Sir. Again.

I was distraught at hearing of Vernon Raye’s  passing.  He was a kind man and made sure I felt welcome in the family when I married Trevor. The world lost a good man! I’m so sorry for your loss.
