Moms deserve all the Love

because that's how much
they give to you.

Small and frail with a knowing smile
she said I'm going home.

Of course I know you'll miss me..
If I weren't so tired, I'd stay

My name is Michael....I am one of Mary Streng's Grandsons....and my Mother is Diane

Here are some Memories of Mine of Grandma....to Celebrate the Life we all had with her.  Its the little things in life, that mean so much in the End!


Memories of Splashing in a plastic pool in Grandma's back yard on a hot summer day as a young child.

Another memory:
I'm around 3 years old and Grandma is giving me a cup of Coffee during a cold Winters day (like today) with sugar and milk in it as I asked for a cuppa cuppee......I was well on my way to becoming coffee addicted and soon would be a StarBucks customer as an adult...............Thanks for that one Grandma!!!!


The Many times we had Tea Time at Grandma and Grandpas after a homemade dinner ....made with Love, from Grandma!
Grandma was always in the kitchen making her Family wonderful foods and desserts and making sure no one went home hungrey.  
She would say...."IF YOU GO HOME HUNGRY....IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT"...
She loved to wait on everybody and was always the last one to finish her dinner which had to be "ice cold" because she would take the time for everyone if they needed something.
What a Giving and Loving Woman, Grandmother, and Wife She Was!!

I love you Grandma....you're the best, you were like a Second Mother to me.  All those years of Baby Sitting me while my Parents both worked.  You were there for Me!!  You know what the Coolest thing about Grandma baby sitting me was?......I sat and thought about this and I don't remember Grandma ever yelling at me......isn't that a pretty cool Grandma?   
I thought I had it pretty good that way.
Grandma always left that up to Grandpa and if she had to discipline me; it was "Wait til Grandpa gets home, you will have to answer to him!".......Let me tell you, That line worked really well, so I kept...... well behaved.  Oooooh Yea!!!

Grandma Mary, Thank you for being such a loving and caring Grandmother and making our Family feel so Loved!

Now that you have been re-united in Heaven with Grandpa, you have given him the best Birthday Present ever!  Grandpa's birthday was just Thursday February 9th!

Someday we will "ALL" be together again in Heaven.

I have a little poem I would like to read to you, that reminds me of Grandma Mary...................

Hi Carol,  I tried to get an email address for you, no such luck.  My cell # is 1-262-689-0411.  Address is 2679 So Nicklaus Dr, Avon Park, FL 33825.  We love Florida.  The weather is great and totally relaxing.  We both golf a lot.  Please send me your email address, actual address and phone number.  I was going to send a card, but I just had surgery on the 10th so I am not getting around to well yet.

Carol and Diane and families,  I am so sorry for your loss, she is now in heaven with your dad.  I am sure that she will have a wonderful reunion with her mother, dad and her brother Pete and mom.  She is in a wonderful place now and she knows the secret of the other side in heaven.  We are keeping you in our prayers.
