Anna was born on September 22, 1921 in Alvord Texas to parents Father Lonnie Pleasant and Mother Effie Royal. Anna was Married on June 06, 1964 to the love of her life Mr. Don Petersen, Anna completed her master’s degree in Home Economics from the University Of Oklahoma and began working for the University Extension Service and did a lot of work with the 4-H program. Anna also taught in Merced California for some years. Anna was a proud Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.
Anna leaves behind her beloved step-son, Duane Petersen; step-daughter, Sharon Babcock' numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday May 18th 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints located at 2976 McKee Road Merced California 95340. Burial to follow at Merced District Cemetery 1380 B Street Merced California 95340.
