Annie Ruth Hunt

July 5, 1931 – November 16, 2010

Ms. Annie Ruth Hunt was born as Annie Ruth Bishop. She was born July 5, 1931 to Jim and Lula Mae Bishop in Bolton, Mississippi.

Annie moved to Merced, California in 1981, where she lived and raised her grandchildren, and some of her great grandchildren.

Also along with raising of children, Annie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Annie was a devoted and faithful worshiper of Jehovah God. Annie enjoyed reading the holy scriptures and speaking of Jehovah to any and everyone. Even ones who did not want to hear it, she would quote the scriptures anyway.

Annie also enjoyed door to door witnessing and mall witnessing whenever she could. She enjoyed attending her book study, Assemblies and other enjoyable outings as well.

Annie is survived by her husband, William Hunt of Merced; two sisters, Annie Mae Wright and Josefine Knocks both of Los Angeles; two sons, Andrew Jackson and Danny Jackson, both of Merced; three daughters, Aline Ricks and Jurline Leatherman, both of Merced and Emma Reed of Stockton. Annie is survived by her grandchildren that were her children, Darlene Livingston, Aaron Stamps and great grandchild, Angela Livingston all of Merced. Annie is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of friends and spiritual brothers and sisters.
