In loving memory of Carmelo DiBella. Mel was born in New York City, April 3, 1932 and passed away March 12, 2021. His battle with serious medical issues showed his courage in facing life’s challenges still with a smile on his face. Despite the pain. He came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Mel retired as a Master Sgt. After serving 21 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also worked as a mailman for the United States Post Office for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Ilean “Blondie”; his 3 children, John (Vickie) DiBella, JoAnn (Sean) Hoffman, and Anthony (Melissa) DiBella. Also surviving him are 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Lennie.
Mel was all about family. He was the most giving, loving kind and generous person. We will always respect him in life and in death. He enjoyed dancing with his wife Blondie, playing cards, collecting coins, working on cars and going to church.
