Cecilia Hernandez

Cecilia Regalado Hernandez, of Merced, born in Pueblo, CO, passed away at the age of 88 at Mercy Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Hernandez; two sons, Eliceo and Alfonso; and sister, Socorro Regalado.

She is survived by her four children, Luis (Ester), Maria (Manuel), Maricruz (Jose), and Jose (Consuelo); 24 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.

Mama Cecilia was a faithful and devout Catholic. She helped numerous people throughout her life and was a strong woman who always put others needs before her own.

Those of us, whose lives have been touched by her, will never forget her kind spirit and passion for gardening, sewing, and cooking. She was a women set apart, whose sweet memories will forever be cherished.

Visitation will be at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00P.M. with Recitation of Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Sacred Heart, 552 W 13th St., Merced, CA at 10:00 A.M.
