

Charlie George Ruth was born on January 24, 1936 in Taylor, Texas to Robert Franklin Ruth and Dovie Gray Ruth. They then moved to Arkansas where the raised there 8 kids. A short time after Charlie graduated high school he joined the Air Force where he worked as a boom operator. He was stationed at Castle Air Force Base in Atwater, CA when he retired. Charlie opened a business “Woodcutters”, where he happily served his community. Charlie truly loved the Radio business.
Charlie leaves behind His Wife, Wilma Ruth, 4 brothers Robert Ruth (Peggy) of Milbourne FL, Jim Ruth of Shreveport LA, Richard Ruth (Joyce) of Taylor, AR, Paul Ruth (Eva) of Magnolia AR. Two sisters Opal Ruth Moore (Tullie) of Shongaloo, LA and Arlene Ruth Martin (Tim O’Neal) Shongaloo, LA. His kids, Kent Lebart (NV), Billie Jo Summerton, Atwater Ca, Tammy Bobendrier (Todd) Atwater Ca, William Fox Jr of Lemoore, Ca. Many grandkids and great grandkids. Charlie touched so many lives and leaves a big void that can never be filled.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
