David Dawson was born on November 15, 1939 in Dinuba, California to Aaron and Ruth Dawson. He passed away on December 2, 2017 in Merced, California. David was the co-owner and president of San Joaquin Glass of Merced and was a commercial glazier for 56 years. He was a member of the Merced Elks 1240, Booster Club, Merced Trade Club, Central Valley Corvette of Fresno and Yosemite Corvette of Merced. David is preceded in death by his daughter Crystal Dawson-Handel, son in-law Greg Handel and his mother Ruth Rhodes.He is survived by his wife Lupe R. Dawson, his children George Dawson of Los Banos, California and Bruce Dawson of Visalia, California. His grandchildren Carli, Allissa, Chance, Macie, Jared, Megan and Paige. His brother Ronnie Dawson of Kingsburg, California.
