Edward Brian Jeskey

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lisa Jeskey, daughters McKenzie McEntire, Meghan Jeskey, and Michelle Jeskey, granddaughter Makayla Sullivan, sisters Claudia Aluia and Cynthia Shreve, and brother Alan Jeskey. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Jeskey, and mother, Irene Jeskey.

Ed was known by all as a kind, outgoing and fun-loving soul, who extended his arms, home, and love to all without question. His 6’2 frame was second to the size of his spirit and heart.

Ed loved the outdoors, and could often be found in the mountains, near the water or at the family’s cabin, hunting and fishing, or with his family and friends laughing, eating, doing a dance, and watching the Red Wings.

Originally from Michigan, Ed joined the US Airforce and later graduated from San Jose State University. He opened Exhibit Services Company in Merced, where he has served as the owner and operator for over 27 years.

A public viewing will be held at Stratford Evans Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca, on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Ed will be at the Gateway Community Church, 353 E. Donna Dr., Merced, Ca, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 12:00 p.m., followed by a reception at the Jeskey household.
