Elaine was a resident of Mariposa for 10 years and worked as a Estetician for 30 years.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Carl Schmidt; son, Michael Schmidt and wife Peggy; daughter, Michelle McCants and husband Jack; sister, Betty Hansen and husband Richard; Sister-in-law, Judy Shotwell and husband Leroy; and grandchildren, Adam Carl Schmidt and Mason Lawrence Schmidt.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, April 18, 2015. Arrangements are under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home.
