He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1965. Jim was employed at Keller Ladders for 28 years and then went on to work for Well Made Products in 1996 and retired in 2019. Jim enjoyed keeping active, he had many hobbies thru the years; Painting, cycling, metal detecting, woodworking, fishing, kayaking, photography, listening in on his scanner radios, astronomy, he also tried his hand at drumming with S.P.D.C. of Merced for a few years. But of all the hobbies Jim dabbled in, the one he was well known for by his family and friends was his delicious Filipino food; we always looked forward to his lumpia at gatherings.
Jim is survived by his wife Kathy of 22 years and his children, Anthony Baladad, Jimmy Baladad (Lisa), Venus Meza (Ray), 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. We will miss you J.B.!
