Gerald (Dave) Davidson was born on December 7, 1943 and passed away on June 26, 2017, at the age of 73 in Merced California where he was a resident for 22 years. He was originally a native of Canton, Ohio and he also lived in Eureka, Clearlake Oaks, California from 1963 -1995.
Dave’s occupation for 50 years was in Water and Wastewater Management. He was also a College Instructor and Training Consultant for 40 years. He served our country in the United States Navy, was a past member of the Rotary Club and had a 3rd. Degree Black Belt in Judo.
Dave is survived by his wife Pamala Jean Davidson, his sons Shawn (Dalyah) Davidson, Jason Benton, his daughters Heidi Davidson (Darren), Vieno LeGue (Chris) and his grandchildren Brooklyn Noelle and Kashton Ryder Davidson. His brothers Richard from Canton, Ohio, Eugene from Clymer, Pennsylvania, and Harry from Hemet, California. A memorial service will be held on July 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street Merced California. There will be a Celebration of Life immediately following. Arrangements under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, Merced, CA.
